When the streaming service started licensing anime and launching its own productions, one of the things that turned it around for many fans was the fact that it often meant a new seasonal series would be held back. until months after its conclusion to drop everything all at once. But that changes regularly.

Fans have seen the service pick up speed in recent years with new series launching weeks after their initial debut like Blue period and Komi can’t communicate, but it looks like it’s going to be even faster for Uncle from Another World. Scheduled to release in Japan on July 6, Netflix’s global listings for July have confirmed that it will also premiere on July 6 outside of Japan. It’s yet to be revealed what that means for the rest of the schedule, but we could have a simulcast like release on our hands with this one.
