Hayley Atwell in grave robber animated series is the first time the character will be in this medium. The story is set to be a sequel to the original video game franchise.

The new report from Variety confirms Hayley Atwell in the grave robber animated series. The new series will continue the video game story. The original game came out 25 years ago, and the new series will celebrate that occasion with a high-profile anime adaptation. However, Hayley Atwell isn’t the first high-profile actress to take on the role.

The very first live-action adaptation of grave robber saw Angelina Jolie kick ass as the video game heroine. While the movies in retrospect were pretty good, it was the best video game adaptations could do at the time. In 2018, Alicia Vikander took on the role in a more realistic and “gritty” reboot. There’s still talk of a sequel, but no concrete confirmation has come since an initial announcement. But with news of Hayley Atwell in the grave robber anime, it looks like another release will come before this live action movie.

Atwell recently appeared in Marvel Studio’s new MCU Disney Plus series, What if…? The show saw Atwell’s previous character, Peggy Carter, take on the mantle of Captain America in an alternate multiverse. Atwell will next appear in mission impossible 7 opposite Tom Cruise in the next installment of this franchise. Hayley Atwell in grave robber anime isn’t the first time the actress has voiced a character in an anime series. Previously, Atwell was part of 3Below: Taken from Arcadihas for Netflix.

The story is said to continue the story of the video game reboot trilogy. But it is not known if the story will have several seasons or if it will be unique. We’ll also have to wait and see what kind of animation the anime will use and what to expect from the story.

No confirmation on when grave robber the anime will be released.
